Heard about a sweet cottage in Hendersonville, North Carolina, with rustic charming bones but not so charming decor...yet. I immediately decided this charming home would make a great magazine story so...I rounded up the A team! Good friend, Kim Kelly, master remodeler, drove up from Saint Simons Island, Georgia to be my accomplice and local flower designer/forager Hannah Hall was delighted to bring life to the space with her rustic floral creations. Flying in from Los Angeles, I packed linens from my prop closet, Kim brought some fav pieces from her neck of the woods, Hannah allowed us to raid her home stash and talented cottage owner, Ellie Navarro, stitched up fresh pink pillows. Here's the journey of Ellie's sweet cottage and its "style-ization" beginning with the living room. This is the cottage when we arrived... And voila! After a day of madness, this is how it ended up... Then, as the magazines love details and vignettes I photographed a million of them... Stay tuned for more of Ellie's bungalow photoshoot

As one who has had the honor of watching you at work a few times here at FrenchGardenHouse, all I can say is that your truly are divine. You have a huge talent for transforming the good into the exceptional! Just a re-arrange here, a pop of color there, a few flowers here, and your creative genius makes any room come alive. So happy to see you blogging, and can't wait for future posts. xo Lidy

I loved this post, Sunday....actually I love them all! We just bought a rather run down house in Ithaca, NY so we'll be spending part of the year there and part here in L.A. Anyway, I'm getting some great ideas after subscribing to your blog. Your blog is so beautiful!
