My favorite image from our whole Hendersonville shoot! There's just something about the moment and the casual elegance... Here's all the fun we had behind the scenes... Finding the best-looking bread in town (from the local Flat Rock Bakery) and breaking it just right... On a plate? Or do we like it better on the brown bakery bag? Kim arranging each quince blossom petal just perfectly... And each blossom doing it's best... Me behind my Canon 5D obnoxiously shouting orders -- oops! I mean kindly making suggestions about placement... Trying different angles, making sure it looks perfect but still casual, capturing that moment with the light just right... Kenyon letting me know that he approves the direction we're taking... Half filling the lemonade glasses as if someone was there just a moment before...taking a sip....(it's called Lifestyle)... Bella Rustica Design Kim Kelly looking proud of the tableau...whew! Kim:"it looks so easy in the magazines..." If while we're shooting, and an image really grabs us, there's potential for a cover -- in which case we leave extra room at the top for the logo, white space on the sides for cover lines, and room at the bottom for the dang bar code... Below...the teeny tiny bath before styling... Here's after styling but before photoshopping... And ta dah! the finals below!-- styled two different ways... which is your fav? Fini! BY THE WAY, IF YOU SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN AND SUBSCRIBE BELOW-- YOU'D MAKE ME SO HAPPY... AND, IF YOU LEAVE A COMMENT, TOO, WELL, I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY! cottage of ellie navarro and @charmingtheweekend...pink plate courtesy of woodland

Me, too, Sheri! I'm not comfortable in a home without light...I'm a skylight girlie.

What a F.U.N. time we had in Hendersonville at Ellie's sweet cottage. After working with you through the years I still get tickled at how talented you are. If people only know the work that goes into these things : ) Didn't we make avocado toast with that yummy bread...?
